In today's Express Entry Draw, the IRCC issued 3,350 invitations to individuals with a cut-off score of 451+. This CRS score is higher than last year's average CRS score which remained between 440 - 445.

In 2019, IRCC has decreased the number of ITAs issued per draw to 3,350 which is resulting in CRS scores above 450+. Draw sizes of 3,800+ are required in order to see CRS scores in the 440 - 445 range.

IRCC will invite 85,000 individuals to apply for Permanent Residence in 2019.

The ideal candidate under Express Entry has a score of at least 440+. To calculate your Express Entry score, use our Express Entry CRS Calculator.

The point about draw size affecting the CRS cut-off is especially useful for anyone tracking Express Entry, because even a small change in the number of ITAs can significantly affect their chances. While waiting for the next draw, applicants can use that time to review their CRS profile, improve language scores, or simply take a short break with Cool Games before getting back to their immigration plans.
