Today, the IRCC issued 3,750 ITAs to candidates who were in the Express Entry pool with a CRS score of 440 and higher. The CRS cut-off score is still stubbornly holding above the 440 level, where it has remained over this past year.
This is now the fifth draw in a row with a size of 3,750. Our firm anticipates the IRCC to increase the draw size to 4,000 in the next draw, and hold this draw size for 5 draws. As we move into the Fall months, we anticipate the CRS score to decrease into the 430 - 440 range, but not below this level.
In 2018, 85,000 people are expected to be selected in Express Entry system, under the Federal Skilled Worker program.
