The new year came with a nice surprise- the IRCC issued Invitations to Apply (ITAs) to 2,902 candidates. The qualifying Comprehensive Ranking Score (CRS) was 468, the lowest it has been since February 2016.
December's draw was also one of the largest with 2,878 ITAs issued and a CRS score of 475.
The two latest Express Entry draws come after significant changes to the Express Entry scoring system which were announced last year and came in effect on November 19, 2016.
