Within the last two weeks, the Canadian government has introduced travel restrictions for certain individuals, preventing them from entering Canada.
Immigration Canada (IRCC) has also implemented changes to policy and procedures regarding pending and future applications.
The IRCC is still currently operating and processing applications, while the IAD (Immigration Appeal Division, IRB (Immigration Refugee Board), and Federal Court have postponed hearings until further notice. The CBSA have also postponed removals for individuals who were issued removal orders.
